Shipston Badminton Club is a fun, friendly and competitive club for 18s and over. We  play at Townsend Hall, on a wooden sprung floor. We can’t offer formal coaching on playing but we can provide informal guidance, support and instruction.

We play doubles badminton up to league standard using plastic shuttles. 

During the Summer season (April to September) we play on Thursday evenings from 7.30pm to 9.45pm (Open to all)

During the Winter season (September to April) we play on Monday and Thursday evenings from 7.30pm to 9.45pm (Members only)

As we are a club with limited courts we try to balance the enjoyment of all and therefore potential members need to show that they can either play or have the potential to improve.  After up to 6 sessions, the committee will consider the capability of the player, and from this an invite to join the club hopefully will result.
